Stirling Wilbur Engineering Group produces drawings and specifications for the restoration and/or renovation of existing buildings.  Stirling Wilbur Engineering Group performs condition surveys of the structures and issues reports to document our findings.

Stirling Wilbur Engineering Group and the client agree upon a scope of work and drawings and specifications for the restoration are produced.  A General Contractor uses these contract documents to bid the job.  During the construction phase, Stirling Wilbur Engineering Group performs construction administration services to ensure that the construction conforms to the requirements of the contract documents.

Renovations often include the strengthening and/or relocation of structural elements due to modified building plans and increased loading requirements due to increased occupancy, upgraded mechanical equipment and increased storage requirements.
